Experience Iceland’s Legendary Þjóðhátíð: A Weekend of Wonders!
Þjóðhátíð is unquestionably the most known as well as the biggest festival in Iceland. This uniqe 3 day outdoor festival has been held in the valley, Herjólfsdalur, since 1874. A full time schedule over the weekend with all kind of events for all ages, where the 24/7 party in the Herjólfsdalur valley is of course most attended.
There are three highlight during the weekend, begginning with the unbelievable bonfire on the Friday evening, followed up by an incredible firework exhibition on the Saturday night. Finally, the last but not the least, the Sunday famous hillside sing-along event.
